The Center for Career Services (CCS) aims to assist undergraduates, graduating students, and alumni of MAPÚA in defining their career goals and in learning how to achieve them through counseling sessions, workshops, alumni network, on-line career resource library and information and placement services.

The keys to the success of these programs are the following:

  • A wide range of partnership with campus academic and administrative departments that contribute to the breadth and effectiveness of career services.
  • Career-related services and programs that will assist graduating students in preparing for the world of work and in increasing their chances at employment.
  • Establishment of company linkages by promoting contact between employers through industry networking, Mapúa Industry Linkage Council (MILC), on-campus recruiting program and on-line recruitment services.
  • State-of-the-art technology that maximizes accessibility to the Institute’s resources and services.

  • Career Expo (Job Fair)
    On-campus job fairs are held two (2) times a year. This gives the students and graduates the privilege to check out employment opportunities in one venue – their very own campus. It also gives participating companies the advantage to promote their organization, as well as their products and services.

  • Career Services Website (Careerlink)
    The pioneer provider of on-line campus recruitment solution in the Philippines. This is offered to various industries interested to give employment opportunities to Mapúa graduates. Mapúa jobseekers from different batches, including graduating students are all welcome to join and seek job opportunities from this service.

  • Career Development Seminar-Workshop
    This pre-graduation workshop aims to assist students in their self-assessment, career development and planning before they explore the world of work. The highlight of the program is to reinforce the students’ qualities and develop relevant job competencies that will put them ahead in their job-search. This program is facilitated by professionals from the industry.

  • Graduates Directory
    A comprehensive list of graduates and their contact details are given to potential employers for recruitment purposes. This service aims to give graduates of various years the opportunity to be reached and selected by companies who desire to employ Mapúa graduates.

  • In-Campus Recruitment
    The Campus Recruitment shall be offered to all client companies who are interested to conduct an on-site testing and/or interview inside Mapúa Campus. It gives alumni and students the opportunity to interact and discuss future career opportunities with the company.

  • Job Ads Bulletin
    Updated job announcements posted by various companies, CCS activities and events are posted online and offline.

  • Resume Book
    A set of clear-cut resumes of alumni and graduating students designed uniformly to provide significant information for possible placement.

  • On-the-Job Training Assistance and Coordination
    A program designed to give students a professional edge upon graduation. This is often referred to as on-the-job training/ internship /work-based learning. The program provides opportunity for students to apply knowledge gained in the classroom/laboratory to real-life work experiences, both with local and international companies.
